This fishing package is suitable for the adventure seeker and serious environmentalist seeking the unspoilt beauty of the Transkei Wild Coast. Fishing here is a once-in-a-lifetime experience which will yield between 3 – 5 days of fishing the big stuff.
Mazeppa Bay is best known for its abundance in size and yield of predatory fish around may to August. Catches of over 200kgs are the norm and competitive fisherman find themselves pushing the limits for a catch of 280kg to 350kg. It is for this reason that we recommend an intermediate skill level for fishing in Mazeppa Bay.
Great catches of Garrick and sometimes Kob are also made from the shark points using a light spinning outfit.
